Overview
About Me
- I think that every sweet is better with cinnamon; oreganos are compulsory in a salad; and tuna, pasta and cheese are just awesome. Pizza is the food of the gods (HUGE pepperoni lover over here!!!); and it also means friendship. But Life isn't just about food... (they keep telling me).
- I always cheer for the underdog.
- I think that random acts of love are necessary - without them the day-to-day life is pointless.
- I never have a single opinion about a specific subject, I often change my mind about it and take on oposing sides of a discussion, because the world isn't grey, but a really big beautiful rainbow mess.
- I like the feeling when my nose gets cold in the Winter.
- What matters in a beach is the sea, so it's pointless to be on the sand - unless there's a volley ball, a deck of cards of very good friends involved.
- I like to watch bad movies, whether they were intended to be ridiculous or not.
- I like to find 'flaws' (in people, animals or things) and love them.
- I'm always making movie scenes in my head - and I often act them out to infinity and beyond the absurd (and now and then I have a very entertained audience).
- I like saying my most random thoughts outloud to, basically, whomever. But I also read my room and am aware of social conventions and my surroundings, so I don't (usually) act out on these impulses when they are - let's say - reprehensible.
- I like learning different languages because I feel I can think from a different perspective.
- Friendship is a BIG deal. Real friendship is as big a commitment as marriage. Everyone is my friend and I'm not divorcing anyone.
- I laugh when I'm struggling or uncomfortable.
- I believe everyone deserves as many chances to make things right if the intention is true.
- No one's special and we're all so small. Isn't it wonderful to have so many greater things around us?
- Perspective is essential. Everything is connected. Uncertainty is good, illusions are better. Nothing makes sense because there's no need for it. The fact there are infinite possibilities inspire me and I both hate and love the limit to our choices.
- The best place to be in the world is a room full of laughter.
- I like to observe strangers around me. I wish I'd have the courage to walk to them and have a heartfelt conversation about anything, important or not.
- Life will always be too short.
- I find mirrors mystical and scary in their simplicity.
- It's amazing that I can always find something new in what I thought familiar.
- I'm always serious. I'm always joking.
- A soothing silence with someone else is a rare gift that I deeply appreciate.
And I guess these are some of the little big things and opinions that make me. At least for now.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't like picking favourites. My choices are always changing and there are so many great things that I've found and I have yet to encounter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Like all of you, I beat the odds by being born, and I honestly think every inhabitant of the known Universe is amazing. We're all the product of a very very very VERY small chance of a random combination... and that's awesome.
I've also been on Batatoon (Portuguese TV show for kids) and that was fun!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn everything from Life philosophies to tips on how to cook flounder.
I guess I can teach you random and useless facts (so they say, but I think there is a use for everything that is known) I've learnt throughout the years and how to laugh at almost every situation that gets thrown at you. Or maybe I'm getting above myself and I can't teach anything at all. I don't really know what I can teach, because I usually focus on learning (now I realise how selfish I've been!). But I'm sure I won't waste anyone's time!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing is the basis of happiness and I'm keen on it for everything... except my dessert! OK, you can have a (very small) bite. (C'mon, don't be greedy)
