About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Planning a 2-week cross-country road trip Jan 2nd through 13th!
ABOUT ME
See interests. I'm not writing this crap out twice.
PHILOSOPHY
Skip the small talk; let's get to something interesting.
There are thinkers, talkers, and doers. I am a thinker training to make my living as a talker, striving every day to be a doer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately, my roommate/pet/bed situation dictates that I cannot host right now but I would love to meet adventurous travelers inhabiting and passing through Chicago!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've randomly met people who were passing through Indy on a Couchsurfing Adventure and also have several friends who have used it to procure a place to stay. Sounds like fun, so I signed up.
Interests
Stand-up comedy, jamming on the guitar, mentoring cognitively disabled adults, seeing black box theatre, grunge & 90's alternative music, fine food, malty ales, comic books *ahem* graphic novels, old typewriters, total universe video games, buying used DVDs, fawning over cats, listening to comedy podcasts, convincing myself to exercise, coming up with ideas for short funny videos that I never finish

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two years ago, I had my sleeping disorder diagnosed and experienced my first full night of rest since childhood. My life has been a rocket since then, and has been the most amazing turning point in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach.
Everything comedy. From the practical to philosophical, its use in our society, a physiological/evolutionary breakdown... Everything comedy.
Science! Biology and chemistry - mostly with environmental and evolutionary applications.
Atheism and secular humanism - how I arrived at these personal viewpoints after years of relentlessly searching for answers.
On a more practical note, I can punch up a résumé and help prepare for an interview like nobody's business.
Learn.
I am fascinated with how people meet, make, and maintain friends. I confess I am not very good at the social aspects of my life.
I am always up for an inspiring tale of somebody giving everything up to pursue their dream and being successful.
Always searching for motivation and inspiration to better my life (specifically, exercising, losing weight, and breaking old cycles and patterns).
Share.
Pursuing good times with good people.
