Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch. Honest trustworthy people can sleep on it if they need to.

I occasionally am in foreign lands. I require sleep. I may require your couch.

Yes, I currently list my couch as a maybe. I don't seek out surfers on message boards I feel like it's sort of creepy on my part and lazy on yours. I am not going to contact you if you don't think you would be a good fit here after you read my profile. On the same token, if I get the impression you made no effort to read my profile before asking for a couch, I will probably say no. Yeah. It's lame, selfish, and self-absorbed. But well, ultimately that is sort of how I feel about generic requests. I apologize for the inconvenience.
So, ultimately the best way to find out if I have couch available is to CS message me. Say hi! Spell my name correctly like you would want me to spell your name correctly. You know. What's the harm? Chances are good I will get back to you in a day or two.
