About Me
A lil bit ago, I quit my jobs, bought a round the world ticket, hit the road solo-backpacker style, and resolved to see the world and figure out who I am/what my passions are. So here I am!
I guess I'm another super cheesy, over-inspired 20 something. Like many, I want to make a positive impact and change the world. To do this, I first need to see it through the eyes of the many people and cultures it holds, and, from there, I hope to find a passionate path towards a greater purpose.
A little about me? Well, I'm really bad at bios, so how about I give you 8 fun facts.
1. I teach and practice yoga.
2. I plan on getting my degree in International Relations/Politics.
3. I almost became a Buddhist monk when I was 17.
4. Up unto the beginning of June 2016, I had never left my country.
5. I don't know how to ride a bicycle.
6. When I was younger, I was a beekeeper.
7. Salvador Dali is my favorite artist.
8. Yeah, that's all I got.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm traveling on a shoestring and trying to have the most authentic experience in every place I visit. I want to meet amazing people and create amazing memories for me to have and hold throughout the rest of my life. Couchsurfing is an great avenue for this.
Not to mention, well-traveled people are the most beautiful, down to earth people I have ever encountered, and I am enamored with the perspectives of everyone I've met through my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh my, where do I start!
• Music •
I love anything with soul. From John Coltrane and the smoothest of jazz, to Erykah Badu and the world of funky blue soul, to 2Pac and the dopest beats n rhymes, to Jason Mraz and the sweet strum of an acoustic guitar.
• Movies & TV Shows •
I don't do much tv HOWEVER Game of Thrones & Archer have my heart. Anything graced with Robin Williams or Jim Carrey (I'm talking Truman Show/Eternal Sunshine) I'm a fan of. Inspirational travel movies such as Into the Wild are always wonderful, and of course the classics like Fight Club. I'm also always down for a thought provoking documentary.
