About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I like to have my brain become this... empty sponge, so that it soaks up everything it sees, hears and touches... Travelling new worlds, meeting their inhabitants, that's what gets me there
ABOUT ME
I have this urge to joke about anything in any situation, especially when I'm around good company. I may cross some lines at times, so consider yourself warned :D It will not last long though, as I quickly adapt to any new entourage.
Were I to believe the wise words of close friends, I'd say I am a fun, genius, arrogant, spontaneous, childish AND lovable character :) But maybe they're just being polite.
Also, I am very competitive. If you need me to do something, just tell me I can't do it but you have!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy LESS slapstick comedy in my movies, thanks. I skip modern remakes, and go for the originals. Not a fan of camp, I enjoy cold, realistic thrillers, unguessable scenarios, and also a good drama if it really goes deep within the characters (Woody Allen is great here). A movie or a book should closely portray real human behavior, if it wants my attention.
I always went with adventure, war and SF books (Jules Verne, Karl May, Mark Twain). I try to keep them less contemporary, so I can get the brain - sponge thing going (see Mission). I also read some G G Marquez, Sylvia Plath, Hemingway is great. My favourite book is Quo Vadis.
My music is not mainstream and soulless, like so much is these days. I'm more of A VH1, classic MTV guy... quirky indie music is to my liking. I generally stay away from Rock, Electronic, Trance...
