CURRENT MISSION

Find an affordable appartment in NYC, was one of my missions in 2016. Till then, many things have changed, I lived in Singapore until November 2020, which was also my very first time in Southeast Asia. Grateful for having had the opportunity to explore a lot before the global pandemic hit. I am now looking to travel more within Europe while starting a new chapter in big bad Berlin.

ABOUT ME

My name is Kenny and I am German. I spent nearly 6 years in the USA and found my passion for traveling and meeting new people from all over the world. Authenticity, kindness, respect and being outgoing are one of my top 4 traits.
I love to see new places and as mentioned before, like to meet new people.
I've lived in various places throughout the US, including NYC, New London NH, Los Angeles CA, Richmond VA, as well as Singapore for a couple of years.

Within the last 12 years I lived in 10 different cities around the globe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it! I have met so many wonderful people via couchsurfing and had plenty of unique experiences with my hosts.
It's just great to travel while having the opportunity to meet new people or travel partners and to share experiences. My favorite memory was a couchsurfing meetup on Big Island, Hawaii, where I 'couchsurfed' on a boat, to go further out in the ocean on a small dinghy, to then go snorkelling with wild (!) dolphins.

兴趣

Traveling and meeting locals. It's the best way to see and get to know other peoples culture. I am also interested in music, fashion , cultural difference and more. I played the Keyboard and sang in a band...but please don't ask me to sing or play anything. It's been too long!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

To be honest, one amazing thing was Top of the Rock in New York City. To stay there, see Manhattan's skyline, feel free and realizing it's a dream come true. Also, Yosemite Park - such a beautiful place on earth! -Now, since I fulfilled my last Mission - it was just amazing to see 4 Islands of Hawai'i, see lava under my feet, swimming with dolphins, surfing,... But also my almost 2 years in Southeast Asia was a unique experience in itself. My latest trip of a lifetime has been to Ghana, Africa. Such a special trip.
