Howdy!My name is Newman. I was born and raised in Hong Kong.

I went to the U.S. as a high school exchange student when I was 17. After a year of high school, I attended college and graduate school in the U.S. After being a professional student for 22 years, I have been working full time in Texas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed at my friends' places. A couple of my friends have couchsurfed, and they highly recommended me to try it. I look forward to having memorable travel experiences through couchsurfing!

Interests

I enjoy traveling! I studied sociology and love to meet people and learn about their stories!

I do yoga for inner peace. Recently, I started CrossFit and I'm doing more and more gradually.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a road trip from Long Beach, California, to Seattle, Washington, with a friend in a week!

I volunteered at a rural elementary in Hunana Province of China for a month in summer 2009. It was a great experience! I got to meet many friends and work with kids. I traveled in several cities after the volunteer commitment.
