About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Not being terrified by the word 'wacky' in the advice box
ABOUT ME
I used to be nalma on couchsurfing but since my e-mail account died on me and I cannot find my password, I seem to upgraded to nalma 2.0, meaning newnalma!
I am lecturer I guess struggling with the university (who hasn't!), enjoying every day pleasures (nothing can beat a good cup of tea and Proust) and trying to be artistic without being wacky, tacky, or any -acky, basically writing short stories and creating photography series :)
If you wanna find out what nalma 1.0 was like, check out the profile nalma, which used to be the old me, or younger me, although it might not exist (one never knows what happens to old data on the Internet, if anything happens at all)
PHILOSOPHY
I like the smell of things (and taste and everything that goes with them, yes, I am a foodie)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I guess I participate occasionally, when I travel or when people want to travel with me or when they want to meet up and socialise. Sooo... I participate in the most obvious way :) I am able to meet up for a coffee or something in Poznan at the moment but don't have any space of my own to share ;/
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
never had a bad one, when I was in Spain, Ireland or Poland, was always very happy with my hosts, and they seemed to be enjoying their time as well (or at least I hope so:)

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't think that is amazing but I almost tripped once on a dead seal while running on the Donegal shore. I think it is just curious how such an atrocity (although not really, the seal seemed peaceful and quiet) can coexist with such a stunning scenery (mountains, sea and a sunset, who could have asked for more)
also, I was in a car chase in Georgia, was pretty cool in the end :P
Teach, Learn, Share
photography, languages, obviously, cooking (Polish and simple food, vegan/vegetarian when you can enjoy the slightest hints of ingredients)
What I Can Share with Hosts
my knowledge of languages, how sociolinguistics works, a little bit about artsy stuff since I do painting, drawing, photography (analog), film-making etc, anything artistic ;) and of course my great recipes and ideas on how chemistry looks like in the kitchen :)

Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Wales
