About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Departing on a motorcycle adventure through Latin America with my life partner Sid Law starting Fall 2021. We're quitting our jobs, leaving our homes, and excited to live life and explore the open road. Although we are still in a pandemic we hope to be able to connect with other kind, like-minded people who enjoy adventure, good food, art, and the outdoors.

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, I'm from New Orleans but relocated to Las Vegas after hurricane Katrina. I studied abroad in Holland and traveled Europe for a period of 6 months. I have spent the last eight years in Austin, Texas working as an urban planner for the city. I ride my bicycle almost every day and am passionate about creating community and spaces where people love to explore and feel at ease.

PHILOSOPHY

The privilege of a lifetime is to be who you are...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To connect with people from all over the world! You are the experts of your own cities and if you are willing, I would like to learn about your culture and see the city from your perspective.

I have surfed, provided a couch for surfers, given and asked for travel advice. I am about to leave my home for six or more months so I am unable to provide a place for people to stay. However, I love sharing advice and will provide suggestions to any town I have lived or visited.
