ABOUT ME

Studying molecular biology and genetics of plants and microorganisms. I work in a population genetics lab with Ceratodon purpureus and Physcomitrella patens. I'm also starting a in biofuels research lab in the fall working with sorghum. I play music. Create pictures. Laugh. Read. Listen. Stretch. Breath. Look. Watch. Jump. Walk. Drink. Cook. Eat. Play. PHILOSOPHY

I'm in between personal philosophies at the moment. The classic do unto others is good. Keep a big world view instead of a small one. As above so below. Life is a classroom or teacher I am a student. Live life to the fullest. Eat, drink, be merry. Dance, Love, Laugh. Fluent like water. Grounded like tree. Free like bird. Open eyes see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I relied on couchsurfing while I was traveling several years ago. I love it! Unfortunately, I still have not had a place conducive to hosting my own guest, but I plan to someday. Presently I'm visiting colleges looking into graduate programs and am hoping to meet some new people in the areas and save money on hotels.
