About Me
Outdoor Guide in The Best National Park In The Country: Capitol Reef
I’d like to think I’d myself as a hippie stoner dude who typically gets along with anyone. Please just don’t tell me that you believe in a flat, 6000 year old earth and we never went to the moon, but even if you do I’ll probably just say “yeah” and “mhmhhhmm” every so often while I drink even more beer.
My job is fairly busy, but I have some random down days. I can’t necessarily host you where I live, but I can provide a place to do laundry, shower, and point you to a free, legal place to stay within a mile of me if you are willing to sleep in a car or tent. But on my days off, what I’d really love to do is show you around my favorite park in the USA
I was on couchsurfing before it was well known and had a snazzy mobile website. I bicycled across the country twice and went on some hitchhiking trips using it, and hosted many guests when I was in college near Zion National Park. I’ve made many friends and met many interesting people. I’d love to meet and make more friends.
Please don’t be a freeloader. I have a special place in my heart for bicycle tourers and understand all the intricacies there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Used it in the past to meet cool people in places I was travelling and host cool people (near Zion National Park). Now I’m older and in Capitol Reef National Park and looking to meet cool people again.
Interests
Driving down random dirt roads until they end and camping at the end of the road, then having deep discussions about life, then waking up early the next day and going hiking. Nerdy board games and super nerdy video games.
