ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm a kiwi living in London about to embark on (probably) the trip of my life so looking at ways to connect with people along the way. I really like meeting new people, hearing about experiences, opening my mind etc and see this as a major aspect of my upcoming trip. I'm also seeing this trip as an opportunity to find a bit of direction by looking into my other interests (I'm currently a software developer but don't see this as a forever job).

My interests include sustainable living (I'm hoping to learn lots about this over the next few of years), travel, my job (software developer), music and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like alternative folk music - it's usually quite chilled but not too chilled and the lead singers usually have such awesome voices. Books - I read most things! I find that if a book is well written then I'll like it. My all time favourite book is 1984. Surprisingly I actually have a thing for zombie movies - yup, it's a bit out of character! But, I also really like art house (The Lives of Others is amazing - if you haven't seen it then you're missing out!). Danny Boyle is my favourite director.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some moments that have just been amazing have been - hearing a favourite song performed live (that always blows my mind!), landing in a new foreign place and not having a clue what adventure awaits
