Hello! My name is Neysha. I'm a Dominican-American 24 year old living in South Korea. I've been a traveler all my life. I was born in Guatemala, later lived in Nicaragua, Panama, and then Puerto Rico for the majority of my adolescence. I'm an English teacher at a global education center and I love meeting new people.

Because it's a fun, affordable way to travel and a great way to really get to know a new city or country. No one can show you a place better than a local!

Interests

I'm currently a teacher but I'm also making the transition into freelance writing. I write a blog called Travelsuras (www.travelsuras.com) where you can learn more about me.

I love to draw, paint, dance, drink wine, and try new foods. I'm really into cultural events, bars with good music, and people who like to have real conversations.

I love The Decemberists and classic rock. My favorite book is The Perks of Being a Wallflower and I love the Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed an erupting volcano! I went rock climbing... and I swam with turtles in Puerto Rico.
