ABOUT ME

Over the past five years, I have acquired a global vision of the world from living in Bahrain, San Francisco, Lyon, Hangzhou, Boston, and Paris. Through this global experience, I have developed a deep interest and profession in entrepreneurship. I am currently living in Paris matching that interest with my very own startup: Champagne Me.

I was born and raised on the island of Bahrain, where I spent the first 17 years of my life. I then left for San Francisco where I found myself in the center of a global movement: Mobile & Social. After obtaining my Bachelors in International Business, I applied to EMLyon Business School, and I fortunate to be accepted to join a master's program that changed my life, the Global Entrepreneurship Program.

During this program, I was able to travel and live in Lyon, Hangzhou, and Boston. During the course of the year, I learnt and understood the entrepreneurial process: IE The importance of teams and attracting talent, raising money, how to start lean, finding opportunity in unfamiliar environments, as well as how entrepreneurship is perceived differently around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy on life is simple:

• Live life to enjoy it, because today, whatever the date my be, will be gone tomorrow. Smile, don't cheat, and don't steal. Because when you reminisce on the past, you don't want to the darker times to come and haunt you.

• Be open to learning, because life is perceived through a lens, and the better refined that lens, the more sciences and broad topics you know, the more the world will make sense to you.

• Finally, don't live life through the wall that has been created for you. Do what makes you happy, because at the end of it all, this is your life, and you only live it once.
