About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently living in NJ with my wife. Hold a graduate degree in Aerospace engineering from Penn State. I plan to travel every chance I get and have always been an adventurous person. Recently completed a round-the-world trip on our honeymoon - Singapore, Tokyo and Maui were on that list and we loved every moment of that trip.
I have been told I'm laid back and down to earth. I enjoy a stimulating conversation with good food, coffee or beer. It could be any topic under the sun, rocket science or art! Making new friends, meeting people from across the globe, exchanging great stories and generally socializing are what got me on this site. It is unfortunate that sometime people do not realize how to use this site. I came across one such individual in Chicago and ended up with a negative review. Oh well. The earth spins around its axis and I keep traveling nevertheless!
Finishing grad school is the primary aim in life right now!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in Karma. I treat people the way I'd like to be treated :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hit me up for a drink when in NJ or NYC over a weekend - I have explored and enjoyed a lot of spots around the city and can suggest a few fun places to hit up for any interested traveler looking for ideas!
When I visit a new city, I try find a host or just hang out with local CSers in case there's no available couches at the time..Going to the off beat spots is always a rewarding experience..
Meeting new people and exchanging travel stories is always a pleasure as there are some pretty amazing people out there with some amazing tales to tell!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This site helped me find some great friends all over the world and I think that will continue as long as I participate.
Interests
Hmm..this one is difficult to fill in using a few words..firstly I enjoy reading..from sci-fi novels to the latest tech blogs..anything under the sun to widen my perspective of the world around..I am a certified scuba diver and would love to travel and dive at exotic locations..
Tinkering around with computer hardware is fun too and I plan to take on some Arduino projects soon..Especially ones involving R/C toys and a go-pro cam..

Music, Movies, and Books
An avid reader. Though I do wish I got time away from work to read more..I'm making time to get back into the habit. Half way through Isaac Asimov's Foundation, Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers and Mary Roach's Packing for Mars. Great reads!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Parachuting in moscow, White water rafting in south India, desert safaris in Dubai, Scuba diving in a lake around Moscow..
Teach, Learn, Share
I think there's something to learn from everyone. I haven't had more time to dwell on the conversations I have with other couch surfers but I'll get there. If I'm cooking that evening you are welcome to join me for dinner too :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great indian meals which I cook myself, travel stories from across the world and maybe some scotch if you're an enthusiast like me.
