ABOUT ME

My friends would say I'm rather detached and have an easy time picking up and going somewhere else. Not like I really want to because packing and unpacking is such a pain. But they know me as a bit of an adventurer who relishes some of the crazy stories that come out of living and traveling.

Interests

I'm a journalist by day so the smallest things amuse me. I'm interested in politics (at any level), sports (almost any kind at any level, gaming, photography and... Food! I should be fat but I guess I have good genes. Most of my time is split between working, eating, working out and being with my girlfriend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Seeing mountain gorillas in Rwanda. There probably will not be any moment that rivals that in my lifetime. Not even a trip into outer space would top that. There was just something serene about watching these peaceful creatures eat and roll around in the grass. I think that's what a lot of people wish they could do all day too.

2. Whitewater rafting on the Nile. It was fun, thrilling, scary and incredible all at the same time. The rain wasn't fun and neither was flipping over in some class 5 rapids but the story coming out of that is all worth it.
