My name is Ngan, you can call me Banks as well (as Banks is nearly a meaning of my real name when translating).
I'm very impressed with this program because of it advantages.
Personally, traveling is my cup of tea but with the budget of a student, I find quite hard to afford it. Besides, I love expanding my friendship all over the world so i'm looking for these opportunities to go overseas. I desire to build up my own family in Toronto, Canada.
In July 2018, I took part in an exchange program to Ping Tung city in Taiwan for 2 weeks to learn both its language and culture.
Now, I plan to travel much more than the last year, with target 1 country/3 months and I'll start from Southeast Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just read a self-help book named "Tuổi trẻ đáng giá bao nhiêu" of Rosie Nguyễn and she suggested this program for us. Moreover, when I registered to Couchsurfing, I found out a lot of my friends who are reliable joined it before so I really wanna have chance to be a host and live with host families in other countries too.
In July 2019, I plan to travel Singapore for 4 days 3 nights by myself so I wish I can have someone be my host.

Music, Movies, and Books

My fav books are self-help, such as Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, Law of Attraction and those related to Finance and Business.
Besides, I enjoy watching American sitcoms named How I met your mother, Friends and other cinema movies. However, I feel more comfortable to watch films which aren't too much dramatic and tragic or have illusion characters.
With regards to music, I'm keen on listening to songs of Westlife, The carpenters, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift and other popular but old songs as More than I can say, Love to be loved by you, No promises, Beautiful in white, Breathless, Until You. And whenever I do my tasks, I need some instrumental music to keep my mind on track.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a freshman in University so I still focus on learning to develop my skills. However, I plan to teach English in English centers as a part-time job. Besides, I can read tarot for myself and clients if we meet and tell our stories accidentally as a destiny. Personally, I'm a fan of Law of attraction so I believe that "We're Attracted To People Who Are Just Like Us". That's why I desire to develop myself much better everyday, create and receive positive energy and widen my perspective throughout the world by connecting with many people thank to traveling.
