ABOUT ME

Slightly fun, moderately easy-going, really inquisitive and sometimes intellectual, I take a while to get warmed up. But once I do, I'm big on questions, insights, culture, and food!

A fresh graduate from Communciation Studies (that's a glorified term for Mass Communications), I'm working now in the Ministry of Education, overseeing university education, which is pretty meaningful and exciting at times.

When I'm free, I love to hang out with my girlfriend, and we're experimenting with introducing the uniquely Singapore culture and country, and to find out about the many different perspectives out there.

What I can do: I'm happy to be your guide and bring you around the less touristy parts of Singapore, to have a better feel of the common person's life in Singapore. So get in touch with me, let me know where your interests lie, and we can work something out! My specialities are local food, culture, life, and history.

Trying a little bit at a time, with a little bit of my time, to provide some context of Singapore to travellers, and to dispel the notion of Singapore as a boring stop-over country. We're not, and we really have a great story to tell!

P.S. I'm not too good with nightlife though, and can't host couchsurfers. Sorry!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mount Schilthorn in Summer, with only two layers, getting stranded in sub-zero temperatures on the peak for the night, and living to tell the near-death tale.
