About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To help you in whatever way I can. I am a medical student. Please understand that my time is limited. I have many contacts in Manila and could act as a go-between. Please send me a message and we will go from there. I know Quezon City best.

To learn about the world through the people I meet and broadening my mind with the adventures encountered!

ABOUT ME

I'm fascinated with people and their story, how they came to be where they are presently, and the sharing of seemingly insignificant moments. The truest stories stay locked and hidden. I look at people in the subway, on the street, eating alone and pondering mysteries seen through a coffee-shop window- and it fascinates me. I don't see the point in wasting energy on anger, nor building oneself up to blindness and large ego. Every person has something to say and a point to give. I'm interested in yours.

PHILOSOPHY

Listen son, There will be times that you will fall to your knees and beg for forgiveness. And other times when you will be graced with the privilege and gift of granting it. People will lye at your feet; but only after you've accepted the fact that you must kiss theirs first. We aren't higher than them, nor are we beneath them. We are us. They are them. And we only have each other. Give yourself a chance and buy a stranger a coffee, share a name and a moment. Pocket it. And carry that with you till you die.

It is amazing how far you can get with a smile, an open heart, respect, curiosity, and sharing. If you don´t live by those principles.... you haven´t discovered life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and surf. I host when I can and I love to surf everywhere possible. I am quite active in the Barcelona couchsurfing community. Going to roughly 2 weekly meetups a week.

As a Host:
As a host I will gladly take you around my university or, as I am in Barcelona Now from February to end of April, I will gladly show you around the city and introduce you to my local friends. We will cook dinner together and actually have a real conversation. I am not the type fo host who wants people to simply use my place as a place to crash. Half of your own plans and half of the day that I can plan for you would be nice. I am a big believer in open mindedness, culture, and sharing of that culture, learning through the open mind and taking it in with a grande heart.

As a Surfer:
If I surf your place then I promise to respect your privacy and your rules. But if you are letting me stay at your place just because it seams as though I am desperate, that is not the case. I really like to get to know my hosts. I like to take my hosts out for a beer or cook a meal with them. I like to exchange stories, maybe bring a bottle of wine and talk about what we have both seen and done, finding refreshing conversations which lead long into nighttime. I believe in positivity, laughing, smiling

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived. Been Human. Opened my Heart. Expanded my Mind. Been thankful everyday for everything that has happened to me. Lived in the Present so as to not get tangled with a future that may not come true, and in the end have lost my time chasing a figment of imagination, never having fully felt the emotions and moments of now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a really good and simple chicken and rice dish. It requires chicken, a sauce made of 4 easily accessible ingredients, and an oven set to 350 degrees. It only take 30 minutes. But it's really not about the food, it's about the company and the words of whom I can share my time with.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Macao, Morocco, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, Vatican City State, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Philippines, Spain, United States
