ABOUT ME

I'm a Vietnamese girl. I love travelling but it doesn't come cheap as a student. I've got a budget and I got to stick to it, otherwise, I can end up in a lot of trouble with a mountain of debt when I get home. Furthermore, meeting lovely local people who could teach me about the country and city where they live would be amazing and wonderful. Then, Couchsurfing is definitely is a perfect site for me. I'm friendly, open-minded, outgoing and willing to learn new things from other people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was inspiried by a book named 'Pack your bag and go' by Huyen Chip. The book is about random trips of the author and she has used this site to find host to save on accommodation expenses

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bangkok 1st time couchsurfing experience: Being familiar with Couchsurfing but having never used it to travel, I and my older sister decided to try our luck out at couchsurfing for the first time in Bangkok. So we only made a hotel reservation for the first 2 nights and looked for a host for the last 2 nights. Finally, we had helped with this by M and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous on the way to her house. We weren't expecting much but a couch to sleep on, however, she was so nice to offer us to stay in her bedroom. Now I'm back home but I can't wait to surf and meet more and more lovely hosts on CS.
