About Me
CURRENT MISSION
There are more than 7 billion people I have not met, and more than 100 countries I have not been to. That's why I travel, to know more and to know who I am in this world.
ABOUT ME
I'm from Vietnam and I'm currently studying abroad in the U.S. I joined Couchsurfing in 2013 and have been loving the wonderful community we have here.
PHILOSOPHY
Try anything. You can always learn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to host or just hang out with couchsurfers when they're in my hometown, Hanoi.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first backpacking trip was to the Mekong Delta in 2013. My first couchsurfing experience was during that trip, when I stayed with Tung, a couchsurfer in Saigon. The first night at Tung's house, I also met 2 couchsurfers from Hong Kong and 3 from Spain. We stayed up late and chatted for hours about ourselves, our country and our current trip. Tung is my first host and the experience was amazing. We're still good friends now and that's what I love most about Couchsurfing - traveling and making friends with the most amazing people in the world.
Interests
I love sports, badminton, table-tennis, swimming, running and cycling.
I love learning new languages, trying exotic foods and exploring differences in cultures.

Teach, Learn, Share
If we share, one's experience becomes other's experience. I can teach people how to cook Vietnamese food, how to sing Vietnamese traditional songs or just how to survive the traffic here in Hanoi :) I believe I always learn something, if I am open to other people. Teaching and learning makes the best sharing experience.
