About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel a whole bunch on as little money as possible, and perhaps meet some characters along the way.

ABOUT ME

Well, I guess I'm fairly nice, generous, intelligent, easy to talk to. I'm also really modest. I'm down to Earth, I don't put on any airs, and I'm definitely not creepy.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't want to get too philosophical here because I'm not pretentious...but I'd say I generally approach life and people in general with the idea that we're all in this spontaneous, mile-a-minute, unfair but potentially gratifying world together. If I can help people out, great. I'll do what I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I tried real surfing and embarrassed myself thoroughly, so I thought couch surfing would be more of my cup of tea. And I don't even like tea. Always been a coffee man, always will be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, just yet. Still waiting on that.

Interests

I like to read, write a little bit, like sports, particularly baseball and basketball, but I can be made to enjoy foreign sports if swayed well enough. I like the outdoors, but not really anything outdoors, really just being outdoors does it for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies Top 5 (in no particular order except for the first): Back to the Future, The Godfather, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and The Big Lebowski

Music: Mostly classic rock and blues, with some alternative thrown in there

Books: Bunch stuff, mostly historical nonfiction, but I also like Kerouac, Vonnegut, and authors of that ilk.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm gonna have to think about this one a little bit. Come back to me.
