About Me

Hi Couchsurfers. I'm a engineer. I work on the sea to survey resource and enviroment. So I have been to many places in Viet Nam. I think I can share to you guys about where I have gone. Opposite, you also can share with me about places you have been.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

“Why do I have to learn English, when I have a good job and comfortable life and now even I don’t need English for my work?”, I said that to a friend of mine 3 years ago. And I thought about it a long time.
Until one day, I set foot in France.
I was lucky because I was one of six people in my center to France for training around three weeks. Although I known that Viet Nam is a developing country and France is a developed country but I am still shocked by what I experienced in France. I saw the huge subway system in Paris, the clean old in Nantes. Especially, I saw /by the way the French treat politely each otherIn the training course, we had an opportunity to work with the world’s leading experts. We also had chances to approach with latter-day marine seismic equipments. Unfortunately, I couldn’t hear and say too much. I just could understand everything through a interpreter. I wished I could find out more about their culture as well as their life by asking them. But I couldn’t.
When I went back to Viet Nam, I have tried to learn English much more. I have learnt English in hours everyday. After one year, I can speak English with foreign people. I can speak with Yang, a girl from China. We got to know more about each other. We shared knowledge about tradition and culture of both countries as well. We even discussed about the relationship between Viet Nam and China.
Actually, I have learnt English since I was 12 years old. But I didn’t care about that so much. I realize that when I concentrate I can learn faster. I intend to find a scholarship to take master degree abroad. I hope I can do that in next few years.
I also realize that if I can use a foreign language fluently such as English I will connect with much more people all over the world. Each person is each new door. And those doors are new worlds as well.
So I am really welcome you if you can speak English as a native English speaker and we can practice English together.
