Hi, I'm Nhi from Hanoi, Vietnam. I've just turned 20 despite my misleading appearance which might make you think that I'm 12. I'm studying at New York University but I'm currently living in London for a semester. Next year, I'll be living in Shanghai. I love how interconnected the world has become as it allows us to learn of different cultures much easier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an independent traveler who wants good companies wherever I go to... and Couchsurfing is a perfect platform for me to do so :) Also, whenever I'm back in my city (around December/January and June to August), I can host anyone who's coming to Hanoi! My house is spacious and we have a guest room :) I can show you good food spots and nightlife activities too. Or if you want a homemade dinner, my mom can make it as well :) She's the best chef!!

I love indie and EDM (house music). But I listen to all types of music honestly!
Movies: The Grand Budapest Hotel. I mostly watch TV series, especially the crime/dectective/dramatic ones such as: Sherlock, how to get away with murder, house of cards, game of thrones, Casa de Papel, Narcos etc
I don't read alot of books, but I'm trying to do it more often. I'm reading Pride &Prejudice and Last Exit to Brooklyn atm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing solo-traveling for the first time to Georgia for my 20th birthday without a plan or knowing anyone :D
