ABOUT ME

I love the feeling of setting out on a new adventure with nothing but my pack and a vague idea of where I am going. There is nothing like feeling the thrill of boarding a plane in familiar surroundings and then disembarking in a foreign land, being plunged head first into a strange and unique culture so different from the one I just left.
I am a blank canvas and approach everything with an open mind. What is the point of travel if you just re-create what you had at home overseas? I am willing to give almost anything a go and attack every situation with a gusto and energy that would make Ernest Hemingway jealous.
Anyway, for the next 12 months the road will be my mistress as I set out to explore this pale blue dot we call earth. I hope I can meet as many fantastic and fascinating people as possible on my way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't hosted, but since travelling I have surfed with a few people and think it is a brilliant idea. When I get back to Melbourne I will definitely look to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There is no greater joy than meeting fantastic people in remote and unique parts of the world. Host me and I will happily tell you about some of the more interesting experiences I have had, maybe we can even have some more interesting adventures if we are lucky.

I am exceptionally good with my hands, I can repair almost anything and can build things with ease. I would love to learn another language (Spanish) or even an instrument.
