COUPLE’S PROFILE:

Alexandr and I met while working on a comedy play together in our home city of Prague, Czech Republic. We are performers, theatre-makers, and teachers.

We both were born in cities apart from our roots (me with my Vietnamese roots in Ostrava, and Alexandr with his Russian roots in New York), which probably made traveling become a natural part of our lives.

Our common focus is theatrical clowning, and we offer workshops for adults and children alike (with yoga and movement classes taught by me) at each of our locations.

Besides that, we have many other interests and passions. While Alexandr likes to play guitar and piano in his free time, I love to dance and cook. We both have a strong weakness for dark humor, black coffee, stylish clothing, and Asian cuisine.

When we’re not performing, we travel supporting our fellow artistic colleagues in the places where they are stationed, or go to new unknown places to refresh our minds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are a traveling artistic couple, that would love to move from place to place performing.

When we aren’t performing or directing, we look to the Couchsurfing community to find new friends to get out of our comfortable zone in Prague.

We want to share our art with you, and want to grow our international friend base :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We bumped into members of the royal family that live in the city of Birr, Ireland, and were invited for dinner and then got to swim in a private lake within the Castle grounds as well as perform Moliere for the family and honored guests.
