ABOUT ME

I moved to Beirut in 2009 and I am still in love with the city. After having lived in many countries I finally found the place I want to stick to. I work in peacebuilding and international development and I like adventure and meeting people who are open to new ideas, curious about the foreign and searching for new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host and I surf occasionally. In Lebanon I used to go to CS meetings and meet CSers for drinks or outdoor activities. I love the CS project!

Met a woman who had lost all her family in a massacre and who had one message only: Do not hate!

教，学，和分享

I have lived in the Balkans, Caucasus and Central Asia and I can share my experience; I can help people learn about NGO work, projects and fundraising, work in conflict areas, and being open to work with all sides of a conflict. I am eager to learn almost anything new. One exception that comes to mind is football though. :)
