About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience all that I can

ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be a very hardworking, responsible person who looks for the fun parts of life and the things around me. I have a constant hunger to see the infinite number of things present in this world, and love to experience new things wherever I go.

Living abroad has really opened my eyes up to who I am and made me more eager to see everything there is to see, and meet people in the process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Planning on hosting once I have a consistent living situation, and looking to surf when and where I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used CS to meet people in Amsterdam to explore the city, and surfed on a road trip back home from school. Also went through Krakow with some friends and met a great host there. Such a great way to meet new people!

Interests

I lived in Germany for a year through a cultural exchange program, and am now in a development program with a multi-national company and they're sending me all around the world for work assignments and training. This kind of exposure to multiple countries, cultures, and places has been an absolute joy and huge area of personal growth for me, something I hope to continue regardless of where I am in life.

I am a very avid Ultimate Frisbee player, and have been involved with teams in the various cities I've lived in over the last few years. Also, I love to mountain bike, cook, eat, take pictures, listen to music, and enjoy good company, wherever that may be.

I love to learn by doing, be it a new trade, a sport, or anything else. Being involved in the things I am learning is something I really value and enjoy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty much any kind of music. I'm a big fan of alternative rock, classic rock, and hip-hop/rap, but my tastes and preferences change on a daily basis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The summer of 2011, I was flying down to visit a friend in the Cayman Islands. My flight from Miami to Grand Cayman was a night-time flight, and our flight path took us right over the Florida Keys. Flying over the coast at night, the lights clearly lit the border between land and liquid. Off in the distance was the well illuminated Key West. Due to the clear night and moonlight, it was very visible, along with the clouds overhead. From these clouds came sputterings of lightning sporadically increasing the luminescence of the land off in the distance. With my eyes glued to the window, I became more aware of the dark night's sky, the bright stars overhead, and the bright moon shining on the white cotton-ball clouds. We slowly approached a most pronounced pillow of the sky. With the moon's soft light reflected from its puffy surface, each feature of the clouds was softly accentuated by the dimly lit bulb faintly glowing overhead. Time slowed to a crawl as the combination of each of these wonders consumed the attention of my eyes. Waiting for the next flash of lightning, all the while inspecting the definitions of the white cushion of a cloud strolling by. I was frozen in awe of the scene before me. It was absolutely breathtaking.

I've done some other cool stuff since then...
