Overview
About Me
Hi! I am a well-read, well-travelled recent university graduate who is always looking for more learning experiences.
So I love learning new languages and meeting people from all over the world, and I hope to find lots of travel opportunities through couchsurfing. I have spent a year abroad in Kyoto, Japan, so I'm used to travel and always do so as lightly as possible. My other interests include, reading anything and everything, classical music, history and food, and I am a quiet, thoughtful kind of guy.
I have been completely blind since birth, but I don't let that get in the way. It presents challenges but I have learned to adapt to all sorts of environments and lifestyles.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to take the opportunities available online to travel and experience different places and make new friends. It is easier than ever to do these things, and couchsurfing seems to be the optimal way to try new things and meet new people. I hope that when I get a place of my own, I will be able to welcome anyone in the area who needs a place to stay. I admire the couchsurfer's practice of opening your home to strangers and developing a generous, altruistic spirit of kindness to people from other parts of the world.
