ABOUT ME

I'm a simple, fun-loving guy from Ireland who loves to travel. I've lived and worked in several places around Europe and Asia and now working back in Europe for the time being.
I'm very curious about others' cultures, learning about them and embracing them. My day-to-day work is science/engineering and I also do a lot of public outreach work to promote it so I'm a science/tech geek at heart but I find time to express my inner artist as well, so I like to think I've always something to talk you about so don't worry about icebreakers!
I love to learn new dances and my better half is encouraging me to follow her and pick up painting.

I love trying all sports, especially surfing and others that allow you to get back in touch with the natural world.

Favourite place I've been to for any stretch of time? I'd say some of the hidden valleys in the tropics in Taiwan - a hidden paradise!

For now, I don't have my own place (subletting) so it is hard to be a host.
However, if you're in Ireland I am always happy to meet if I'm in town and help you to have a great experience!
