About Me

Heyooo :))

I always get a little wordless and don't quite know what to say for self description pieces but at present I am sit, legs crossed upon a bed, somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Italy, tucked away in snowy peaked mountains, on a little farm. Its rather lovely :)) There is also another volunteer snoring gently in his blissfilled slumber, in the bed across from mine, tomorrow we are going to hike up to a waterfall. Its all very exciting and varied this tricky world of ours. The ups are always just poking their head around the corner, waiting for you to look up from your low. I just made that up but it sounds kind of cute!

I had a nice thought today when I was working in the garden, "Dont worry about the time maaan, he'll look after himself, you just keep planting lettuce". I might elaborate on that if I I meet you...maybe!

Even if I don't get to meet you, you are all kindly wandering folk, I wish you all of the many wonders on your earthly quests :)

I need to sleep, remember, the hike? Ill come finish more later but now I will add to make a chorus of snores!!

Stay safe yo :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because. friends?

Interests

Well as I have studied music, I guess I would have to be somewhat of an enthusiast! I will be taking all my instruments on the road with me so, maybe we can make a song together?
I do my best at writing also. If I could just sit in the wilderness or countryside and play musiicc, write and read and stretch, l think I'll have it made.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musiccaa! Iron & Wine, Nick Drake, Ray LaMontagne, Xavier Rudd, Bombay Bicycle Club, LCD Soundsystem, Beirut! I love it all :) Anything, I am open too, especially folky folky guitar, or folly mcfolkerson I like to call it.

Of recent times, A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens blew my flippin eyelashes to Mexico It was unreal. I just read the first part of War and Peace by your boy Tolstoy, I don't really know why but I'm glad I did. Ehm Dr. Zeaus (of course). Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts, Blood River which is about the Congo and I cannot recommend it enough its a bit of a journey!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned to appreciate my wonderful parents and how much they have sacrificed and have done for me in order to give me a good chance in life. Something that so many parents do and it is only appreciated later in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy all of the aforementioned activities!
Anything you want of me I can share with you, music, stories, I can aid in your English learning (I'll have TEFL ;)) I love to cook and can make you some fine vegetarian cuisine. I love showing people new music and also playing with people. If we could have a wee jam it could be a little bit perfect?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Upon greeting we can share a warm embrace and then perhaps I can serenade you with my guitar, perhaps we will drink port and talk about the glory days! I can tell tales of gallivants and mischief with dazzling insights into glorious moments filled with good humour, friendship and wonder! I guess I'll just be nice really :)
