About Me

born and raised in ireland, now living in belgium
lover of sharing stories, actions, dancing, art, film, writing, literature, music, travel, the communal and collective, campaigning, herbalism, queer ecologies, being silly, being serious, le soleil, curiosity.
living in a houseshare of queer and bipoc loves where our collective wellbeing is number one. we tend to feel most comfortable hosting fellow leftist queers. its a fun vibrant home that considers everyones needs well x
home here is somewhere you can rest, play, be. there's a spare room, big living room, garden, balcony, projector, books, lots to cook with, repair tools, arts, crafts, someone experimenting with something...sometimes i can offer my time and company, sometimes not! this can be communicated on advance or on the spot so we know what to expect of one another x there's also really no expectation to read all of this, hang and so on - if you're just looking for a spot that's totally alright!

generally speaking, brussels is a really cool place for community run spaces.in most neighbourhoods you can find bar/food/film/art/sports/land... collectives, with a lot of activities free or "prix libre" meaning pay as you like. it's one of the best ways to be surrounded by community be it alone or with an interest in people, try something out or dive into something familiar. there's also the usual stuff; in the city centre i like to look at grand place or mont des arts lying down sometimes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

books: zines. most things by robin wall kimmerer, donna haraway, octavia butler, bell hooks...heaps of poetry and literature mostly in the space of lgbti/irish/ecologies and anti-capitalism. Love libraries like long term partners, and community centres and queer bookstores, can share a very beautiful list across europe and other spots :)

music: sound has been a forever obsession. ask me to draw out chord progressions, to share a playlist, to play with sound, to sit in a room of whispers, to play in a session, anything involving the ears and the body, im connected in a heartbeat.
