Hey nice to meet you! I'm Níamh (she/her) - much to popular controversy, it's pronounced Neev, blame the irish! I work as an actor and director, and am currently training at a drama school so am nuts about all things theatre! I was lucky enough to grow up in a family who are extremely passionate about travel so have been fortunate enough to have lived all around the world; including some incredible places like New Zealand and Hawaii (s/o mum and dad for being rad).

Passionate about storytelling and creating positive change in the world and think that there's no better way to do this than through the exchange of cultures and ideas that travel facilitates. If you're in my neck of the woods hit me up and I'll show you around the best spots with a beer in hand x

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet with the rad people who are brave enough to be open to sharing their hearts and homes with travelling strangers in this world, I think it takes a really special person to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - don't get me started, anything and everything. My dad is a music fanatic so I grew up in a house where the walls literally opened to reveal thousands of records. Interested in everything from jazz, to indie rock, to soul, to folk, to top 40 pop, to musicals.

Books - I was a literature major so I hate to sound repetitive but you'd be hard pressed to find something I'm not into. Massively keen on poetry, especially slam poetry and spoken word, writing and performing a little bit myself.

Film - I'm an actor/director so have been so fortunate to have worked within the industry and met some of the most passionate and incredibly talented people through it.
