Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
live all the days of my life
ABOUT ME
I spend my time either at university in Cambridge MA, with my family in Seattle, or traveling (as $$ allows). Important day-to-day activities (while currently at school) include having really long meals and conversations with my friends, biking around the Boston area, laughing, studying Chinese, being outside, dancing/singing freely, and volunteering. When I'm not at university, my days go where the wind blows.
I'm a friendly, enthusiastic, adventurous person who tries to bring joy to those around me. I really love listening to people share their stories. Looking forward to meeting you!
PHILOSOPHY
"Those who wish to sing always find a song"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting! hopefully surfing eventually (fingers crossed for this summer)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
most of my couchsurfing experience comes from staying with or hosting members of my huge irish family - this is obviously always a blast. i also did an exchange with a french school when i was 16, and living with my french host family was one of the best experiences of my life! since joining couchsurfing, i've hosted several wonderful guests. i'm eager to expand my couchsurfing repertoire to include more stories about meeting awesome strangers and making new friends.
Interests
things i love, in no particular order: listening to people's stories, impromptu dance parties, learning new languages however i can, being outside (hiking!!), soccer, loving my body, my gigantic family, inspiration, www.ted.com, relaxing, turning in my homework late, getting to know the world one conversation at a time, spontaneous adventures, people watching, the pacific northwest, the ocean, ...

Music, Movies, and Books
music: i love music in general, so it varies widely depending on how i'm livin/who i'm lovin - staples are weird indie/electronica/pop/rock, classical music, "world" music, my brother playing the cello, Jordan O'Jordan, and whatever i feel like singing while i walk to class
movies: right now, i like french movies, but i really love all movies from the Palme d'Ors right down to Transformers. exception - horror films (unless they're really smart thrillers like Suspiria that i just can't pass up)
books: i'm hard pressed to think of a book i didn't like (although Oliver Twist was pretty boring). the best i've read in recent years are The Brothers Karamazov and Dream of the Red Chamber. childhood favorites: The Twenty-one Balloons and The Cricket in Times Square
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
