Hey, Nic and Paul are a couple who are travelling around the world indefinitely from March 2016. We run a travel blog called "The Roaming Renegades" and love to travel, have adventures, explore new places, get lost on purpose and getting off the beaten track! We also love pugs, are vegetarians and love meeting new people! We are on a mission to create an alternative lifestyle based around our passions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because we love the idea of travellers helping each other out and getting to know more about a place than just a generic hotel room, to meet interesting and like minded people. We want to sample local life, meet new people and friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

We love heavy metal and punk music mostly such as Metallica, Rammstein and The Dropkick murphys but love a wide variety of types from Rock to Dance. We watch a lot of films, our favourite is most likely Pulp Fiction but more recently we loved Grand Budapest Hotel! Our favourite book has to be 1984!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, we got married in New York and honeymooned in Tokyo! We quit our jobs to travel the world in April 2016! Couchsurfing for the first time in Ljubljana was probably one of our most interesting and rewarding travel experiences! Hot air ballooning over Cappadocia, Paragliding over the alps, backpacking though eastern europe and Asia!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A passion for a travel lifestyle, for embracing life and making the most of everyday! We love cooking and are open to exploring new places, we love to chat about experiences and we are also doing a TEFL to teach English. Maybe you could even go climbing with us!
