Traveling is an essential part of my life. I certainly don't make enough money to be on the road all the time and when I am, I rely on the kindness of strangers. I want to pay it forward as much as I can!

I have a wiiiiide range of music taste but i also have a wide range of musical criticism! It is the single most important thing in my life. I adore classic rock n roll, blues (my SO is the bass player for our local Chandler Blues Band here on the island), psychedelic rock, and I have a taste for grunge. I have a deep love for specific world artists, as well as psy-trance (extremely picky on that last one though). I also love some d&b groups. I listen to everything by album. Some of my favorite artists include our Chandler Blues Band, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, BB King, Cream, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gorillaz, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Stones, Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters, The White Stripes (and most everything Jack White), Wu Tang Clan, The Black Keys, Flying Lotus, Alt-J, Nirvana, Random Rab, Tipper, Ali Farka Touré, Aphex Twin, Burial, Caribou and Daphni. Obviously music takes the spotlight here but I do love to read, Harry Potter being my favorite series of all time. Other favorites include The Alchemist, 1984, The Giver, Brave New World, and A Clockwork Orange. My favorite movies are A New Hope, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, A Clockwork Orange, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Dark Knight.

I hiked into Kalalau Valley on Kauai and survived a storm that flooded the river, buried the beach in the sea, and separated us from all sources of food. With a broken toe! The best week of my life, hands down. I released so much old pain and trauma in the rains. I chopped off my dreads and burned them on the last day. They ended up sending in rescue choppers!

I generally have means to bring ingredients - I love cooking for people and I'm always happy to wash the dishes! Depending on certain personal factors I may also be able to perform energy work for hosts. I am excellent at walking on backs as well (my mother, a massage therapist of nearly 30 years, has taught me some tricks).
