About Me

Hi! I’m 27 years old working in IT industry. I like making friends and learning about other’s culture. I’m into sports like dragon boat and Brazillian Jiujitsu. I love traveling and since I met people from Couchsurfing and Workaway it has changed the way I travel. I enjoy meeting genuine and quality connections in these platforms. Excahing experiences and stories. I also enjoyed helping out my hosts with anything they need.

I’m also currently learning Spanish and German language and would love to meet people I can practice with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love the idea of connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. It's a great way to meet locals, learn about a place from someone who actually lives there, and share stories and experiences. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay; it’s about building genuine connections, making new friends, and experiencing a destination in a more authentic and personal way. Plus, I enjoy the chance to give back and host travelers when I can, creating a community of kindness and hospitality.

Interests

I’m interested in outdoor activities like camping, hiking and swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favorite books is 'Veronika Decides to Die' by Paolo Coelho. Before reading the book, I wondered why Veronika decided to die and I knew the answer. As I was reading the book, my guess about why has been confirmed. I can relate to her feelings at that point when I read the book minus the part of deciding to die. But I know what I need to do so I don't get to that point in life.

Now I'm just trying to live and love my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've tried Workaway and I met an amazing couple in Taiwan. I get to have a comfortable living space in exchange for a few hours of help around their property which I enjoyed so much. This is a very new and amazing experience for me. I get to meet good people and build quality connections. During my stay in their beautiful home, I discovered more about myself. I said to myself that this is the way I wanna travel. I can never be that tourist again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach, learn, share about hospitality, housekeeping, pet sitting, cooking, gardening, elderly care, babysitting, creative play, help with computers and handling various ad hoc tasks.

Maybe if you're also interested with some IT stuffs I can give a bit of an overview.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to feel useful and productive when visiting other’s home.
1. Help with chores. Please allow me to help around the house.
2. Cook a meal. I can help with food preparations or can make a meal from my home country.
3. Small gift from my home country.
4. Skills sharing. If you’re interested to learn some jiujitsu techniques or IT related stuff.
5. Stories and cultural exchange. I enjoy exchanging stories and experiences about the world.
6. Help you with local errands.
7. Pay for a meal or drink. I’d like to take my host out and enjoy a meal or drink together
8. Language exchange.
9. Engage in activities together. If you are interested we can do some activities together.
