My name is Niccolo and I am from Frankfurt / Germany. Traveling is my passion and I try to grab my backpack as often as possible to go on another journey. I am interested in all kinds of cultures and the stories people from different corners of our planet have to tell. I am a food lover and keen on tasting new dishes wherever I go. Doesn’t matter if it’s hot pot in Sichuan or Shakshuka in Israel - food is the incarnation of culture.
Besides two long term stays abroad in Australia and China, I have traveled many other countries on all continents. However, there is so much more to see and learn.
I like doing sports, mostly when it’s related to a ball.
Another passion of mine is learning new languages - doesn’t matter how exotic. So basically I know how to ask for an apple in several languages.

I have recently finished my studies in Germany and now I am on a world trip for the next 1-2 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it’s a perfect way to meet locals and travel properly. For me that means trying to be part of a country and its people.

When it comes to music I am open to most genres. I like attending raves but also enjoy classic music - depends on my mood.
