I'm a girl who used to fall down from chairs and put paint in her hair, as a kid.
Now, as I'm older, I have made good friends with gravity.
Anyways, in the end, I can be fun to spend time with.

I do not know where I belong, so I move around a lot. I grew up in Riga and moved to Norway when I was 12.
I moved to Zurich (Switzerland) for my PhD and August 2019 went to states (Colorado) together with my lab. In September 2023, I moved to Stockholm with my boyfriend (that I found in Colorado) and we are currently based here.

I am a molecular and developmental biologist by profession and that is my passion by day. By night I love to dance swing. And I am always up for artsy stuff, hiking, yoga and running. Alone and together with friends!

I am one of those extreme cases that somehow avoids memorizing of titles and names, so I can't tell you much.
I do enjoy reading and my favorite writer is Erlend Loe, and one of the books I remember making an impact on me is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
