ABOUT ME

I love to travel, meet new people, make new experiences, get to know the world and learn as much as possible!

I grew up in Germany, but spent some time in New Zealand and Australia, Ireland and England and moved to London in 2007. In 2011 I had enough from the big city life (it's still fun to visit!) and moved to the South coast in England, where I lived in walking distance to the beach! :-) After a few years enjoying life there, my next big move brought me to Scotland and nowadays I enjoy being out in the middle of nowhere up here!

I am very open minded and whoever wants to stay with me should be open minded, too. I hate all sorts of discrimination.

Please also be aware that I don't smoke and only drink sociably. I won't allow any drugs in my house and I have a cat, so you shouldn't be allergic.

I currently don't host, as life is way too busy. As I lead quite a busy life, I'd like surfers to arrange their stay well in advance though. I might however also be able to host very last minute. In either case: please tell me why you would like to stay with me - it shouldn't just be a free hotel! ;-)

I am also always more than happy to meet up for a drink & chat - and one can never have enough friends :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to support the community as much as possible, spread word about couch surfing and try to make the world a better place :-) Love meeting people and hope to get the chance to meet as many as possible!

I have surfed couches before and had people surf my couch as well! Many more to come in the future!

My upcoming travel plans:

... mostly Scotland planned for the moment, I love going on many weekend trips - usually at least once per month! :-) May will take me to Ireland and Northern Ireland once agaib. I also want to see more of Europe - suggestions welcome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was a member on couchsurfing before the big crash - and before it became 2.0 and my first couchsurfing experiences were several years ago, with couchsurfing, the hospitality club and also without any websites but friends and friends of friends and... I love to travel and get to know new people and cultures and have been backpacking quite a bit, too. The best experiences are definitely to meet so many different people and share some time together :-) You'll probably notice that some of my reviews are fairly old, as I've been taking a break from the website, not from travelling & co though!
