ABOUT ME

I'm the bubbly part of an easy going couple who are enjoying life while it happens around us! Happily married since 1997, lucky me I found my soulmate :) We have 1 daughter, 1 son & my middle child is my fur baby of the meowing very loud in the middle of the night variety.

I wanted to become a travel agent, but a lack of personal overseas travel experience has put a stop to that. HOWEVER... hubby has agreed to let me go travel for 5 weeks by myself - scary!! (No kids for a month!!)

I'm stopping in LA mid Nov, before continuing onto London & then Paris where I'll be joining a European tour at the end of Nov before arriving home Christmas morning - the perfect present perhaps?

PHILOSOPHY

I don't want to spend my days doing something I don't enjoy, life is far too short.

I want to experience all I can & enjoy life while doing it :)

We can't promise to host anyone just yet - but if the timing is right & the cat's not on the couch you may very well be in luck :)

Interests

Travel & geography is kind of a given! We participate in our local Car Club for car racing events - but I don't know much about cars.
Fave thing at the moment now the suns warming up, is sitting on the deck with a book with a coffee (or a wine on the weekends).
Love curling up with the cat & watching t.v. or a movie.
I 'try' to scrapbook when I have time, don't think I've picked up a cross-stitch this century but I used to do that alot.
We used to scuba dive, but haven't been for a few years :(

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: all sorts. Anything with Jason Statham... I like action, drama, horror, comedy. Love a good animal/travel documentary, or the odd historical ones like how some famous landmark or whatever was built etc

Music: A-Z pretty much covers it. Depending on what mood I'm in, it could be Metallica, The Eagles, Pink, Bob Marley, Elvis, Disturbed, Eurythmics, Phil Collins, Rammstein, Taylor Swift, Linkin Park... oh love the Gregorian Masters of Chant too.

Books: I have an awesome collection of Lonely Planets :) & I love a good murder mystery, thriller, The Cat Who... series I adore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing... that's too hard! My awesome kids are an obvious amazing thing I have 'done':)

They may not be amazing to others, but a couple of MY amazing 'seen' things were an elephant randomly walking down a busy street with his mahut in Bangkok, & seeing the SS President Coolidge & Million Dollar Point when we were on a dive trip in Santo :)

Teaching... umm... I'll work on this one... what can I teach? Does the alphabet count?
