ABOUT ME

I’m Andre, a year two student who is in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I’m a outgoing and nice person who treasures every single experience around me.

I don't smoke, I am funny and nice and kind and friend, etc. haha :D

I am working on cooperating with a NGO about a summer camp which focuses on education/children activities in Czech Republic, and provide information to children about China and share their habits and cultural differencies starting on 18-7-2011. I am now in Karvina, and I will travel Eastern European countries on weekends. :D

To go for travel is not just a holiday, to me, it will be a life-changing experience because I have never left my parents and go for somewhere else with such a long period. It will also help me to broaden my horizon. Let me see how big this world is, and let me know what the cultural difference is between different countries. Last but not least, I can bring the experience back to my own city-Hong Kong after my travel and project.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Many friends told me and recommended this to me after knowing that I will be traveling through European countries. They said this is a great site for them to meet more friends with different culture, and I can realize different culture easily if there are locals living in the city and telling me the story and history of that city and country.

Actually, I am really looking forward to meeting more friends and share their experience during the trip, and I can share my own travel experience and difference culture in Hong Kong which is one of the cosmopolitan cities in the world. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Actually I have couchsurfing experience in Vienna-Austria; Brussels-Belgium; Milan-Italy with my friend through my friend's account.

All positive memory and I love to share stories with interesting cute couch surfers and hosts. I love CS so much!!! :)

Andre can tell you extensive history & stories of Hong Kong! Actually, do you know where is Hong Kong? Hong Kong is one of the affluent cities in Mainland China under the regime of one country, two systems. Before 1997, Hong Kong was belonged to the colony of United Kingdom, but after 1997, Hong Kong was returned to Mainland China. Do you wanna get more cultural knowledge of Hong Kong? Please approach me, haha :)

I also have loads of Hong Kong style music, films and tv shows, I can share them with you.

I would like to teach Chinese,and I wanna learn more about different culture and share with different people.

I am a boy friendly, nice , and kind and I would not annoy others.
As I mentioned before, I will work on cooperating with a NGO about a summer camp which focuses on education/children activities in Czech Republic, and provide information to children about China and share their habits and cultural differencies, so this is a good chance for me to share something about Hong Kong or Chinese culture if you are interested in Hong Kong and Chinese culture.

Last but not least, I am good at cook Hong Kong style cuisine, and we can cook together if there is enough time and materials. :)
