About Me
I'm not sure what to say...
Anything I write will inevitably be a cliche.
I suppose I'm fairly adventurous, I'll try anything at least once, particularly if it involves adrenaline.
I'm also fairly laid back and flexible in my approach to life.
Other than that I'm a clean and tidy person. I don't mind other peoples mess as long as it isn't unhygienic. But then I suppose everyone is like that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and meet like minded people. I really enjoy talking to people about their lives and experiences, how they've been shaped by where they've come from, and in turn where they want to go.
There's nothing you can't learn from the experiences of others.
I also like the idea of being part of a community founded upon sharing what you've got and helping other people travel down their own road.
Interests
I have wide and varied interests.
At uni I study politics and Central & Eastern European politics. I've been at uni a while and have good knowledge and interest in sociology. That's the basic, boring facts I suppose.
I like sporting activities of all sorts and am part of my uni's taekwondo club. I'm also learning to snowboard. I love swimming and I occasionally go bouldering. I like getting out of the city for walks as much as possible. I like a good wander anywhere new. That's the healthy stuff.
At the weekends I like a good night out followed by an even better party. Club nights in Glasgow are fantastic and partying is an unofficial national pastime in Scotland as far as anyone I know is aware.
I also love a good meal and eat out at least once a week.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all sorts and constantly have music on. The only types of music i don't delve too far into are metal and cheesy pop.
My favorite movies at the moment include Burnt by the Sun, The Great Beauty, Black Orpheus. Timeless classics for me are Bladerunner, Spirited Away (etc), Out of Africa, The constant Gardener. Stuff like that.
I love books! but addmitedly I prefer short stories to full length novels. I've just finished The Great Gatsby and loved it. Before that was Beckett's First Love and Hemmingway - The Old Man and the Sea. And I keep going back to Kafka, Raymond Carver, Tobias Wolff, Antoine de Saint Exupery. I quite like a bit of political philosophy too but that's a fairly new interest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once went on a drug trial that took me from Glasgow to Mexico City.
