Hello all, We are Nichola, James and Leo (born 2011), Flynn (born 2012) and Malakai (born 2017)

We like learning about the world, the people, the places. Customs and Cultures.

We got married just before we left NZ :) it was lovely.
Shortly afterward left to Europe, traveled around more then 20 countries then lived in Dublin, Ireland for a spell.

We returned to NZ and had our beautiful boy Leo.
When Leo was about 1 year old we left NZ for Australia to live work and save for a year.
Our second son Flynn was born in Aus in Oct 2012.

We embarked on a 7 month adventure around SE Asia together as a young family. 2.5 year old and 7month old when we left.

We have alot of stories to tell from our lives so far and we would love to share them with yoh.

Macedonia and going for hikes in the beautiful country.

Staying with two brothers in Austria and going rock climbing with them.

Returning the favour and staying with our cool French buddies in Bayonne, going to a mean reggae concert.

Getting hit on by a dodgy man in Cork.

Eatting Lagoosh with our host in Hungrary and getting hideously drunk with his friends in Budapest.

Playing awesome board games in Brno, Czech.

Attending a tiny villages birthday celebrations in Slovakia, hanging out with heaps of cool surfers.

Being locked in the house all day by our host in Stip - by mistake of course.

Staying in Ziliana, learning about NZ. seeing the castle.

Meeting an awesome family in Melbourne where we tried kangaroo!

UNARRANGED COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCES INCLUDE:
Sleeping in a truck with the truckie we hitch hiked with.

Sharing the space under a bridge in Valencia with a clued up physist, American-Italian man.

Sleeping on the well carpeted floor of a Morrocan man.

Sharing a carpet space with a dodgey Morrocan man, who tried to feel us up in the night.

Staying with a lovely Portugese man we meet in Spain.

A sweet as stay with a German man in his campervan, beer, beach and sunshine!

Geocaching and staying with some lovely people in Praha.

Staying with a CSers' friend in Kosovo and his friend in Serbia and her friend in Bosnia.

Sleeping in a meeting room of a church.

Couch surfing in an abandoned factory in Ljubjlana, on a dirty beat-up (but compfy) matress.

To name but a few.

Interessi

Travel, reading good books, making friends, relaxing with a cold beer, having fun, learning about everything, all sports especially extreme ones! Building computers and playing games. Photography. Parenting, I love babies.
