About Me

I live and work in Manchester, England. I graduated from university five years ago and have been working in professional services since then. Manchester has a great cultural, engineering and social history that I identify with. In three people: Tony Wilson, Ernest Rutherford, and Emmeline Pankhurst it won me over. When I see it from the airplane window returning home I smile madly.

My main interests are art in all its forms and of course travel. I love eating, drinking, seeing and grooving my way around planet earth, meeting great people along the way. In a line from my favourite film, La Grande Belleza, I believe "travel is useful, it exercises the imagination. All the rest is disappointment and fatigue...". Maybe not ALL the rest though haha.

I've been desperately trying to learn a language for the past few years but can't focus on one because I find them all interesting, so I can still only speak English with any fluency :(

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because my friend recommended it and I met some of her couch surfer friends and they were cool people. I was converted!
