Hi guys,

I am currently travelling the world for 6 months with my fiance. We are 4 months into our travels and have been to The Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand so far. We have seperated for 4 weeks while we're in Australia so that we can get the experience of travelling alone. After Oz, we'll come back together to do Vietnam and then end our trip on the Trans-Siberean express from Beijing to Moscow!

I am an outgoing guy who loves meeting new people. I don't need alcohol to have a good time but enjoy a casual beer with mates. Looking forward to making new friends and hopefully get in some surfing. I generally prefer being in a smaller group of people or one-on-one to being in larger groups so we can get to know each other well. I am good in the kitchen and I enjoy it so if I stay with you I'm more than happy to cook us some meals. Also fairly tidy in someone else's house (my own bedroom is another matter!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned, I'm free for the next few weeks to experience travelling alone. I am buzzing to meet new people, see new places and hopefully learn from my new friends.

I'll be looking for places to stay along the great ocean road and in or around Melbourne. Once back in the UK, my fiance and I will be moving into our own place which we hope to open up to fellow couch surfers =)

Interests

I am a keen musician and can play basic piano and guitar. I can also sing fairly well. I am a Christian and so I sometimes lead the worship in my local church housegroup which has helped me stay in practice. Enjoy any opportunity to jam with fellow musical folks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate good live music from all genres. My music taste is pretty varied and ranges from Phil Collins to Coldplay to Eminem. I'm a big fan of many Movie soundtracks, James Horner and Danny Elfman are two of my favourite composers.

I am not so into gorey movies and TV shows (Game of Thrones excepted) but other than that I like lots of genres. The best movies are the ones that transcend any particular genre. Pixar films are usually a great example.

I can share all I know about cooking and teach basic chords on the piano/guitar. I can be helpful around the house. I can teach you the words to many a Shaggy song...
