Hello! My name is Nick, and I am a British-born Chinese in the southern eastern parts of England. I am currently studying Business at university in Bath, and will go onto my 3rd year in September 2016. For the time being, I am on holiday in Japan, as it is my first time, I am very excited! I love Anime, so it has always been a dream to visit the country. Other countries I have been to are Hong Kong which I frequently visit, and Belgium. (Ireland and Wales too, but they're part of the UK so I don't count it). I haven't been to many countries, so it is on my list to travel to many new ones in the near future.

Also, I have never done any drugs, or smoked in my life, and I intend to keep it that way =)
Other hobbies I enjoy are Gym, Video Games, DC Comics, and occasionally running. I also used to do Gymnastics which lasted 10 years, but I'm not very good anymore haha~

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a great way to meet other travellers, or local people alike and enhance theirs, as well as my own experience in the new country I am in. I know what it is like to be in a foreign country, and feeling lost is never comfortable, so I wish to help others who are in the UK, and make them feel at home.

Interests

With gym, I mean just working out in general and staying fit in terms of diet, and exercise. I look up to Bodybuilders and fitness models, as I find them to be one of the most inspirational people. I used to be quite fat when I was a teenager, and now I enjoy staying in shape, and making more gains.

I've watched a lot of animes, some of my all time favourites include Dragon Ball franchise, Hokuto no Ken, Hajime no Ippo, and Code Geass.

I play a lot of games, mainly pc games, and my steam library is too big to count.

I also play badminton for my university.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a variety of genres, a lot of my songs are from Animes, so that is mainly where all my Japanese music is from. I listen to a lot of soundtracks from films and games, as well as Western music.

My favourite film is Disney's Hercules, as it was a touching film both back in the early 2000's, and now.

I don't read books to be honest, so I do not have one. I prefer to read articles online.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a Half Marathon in March 2016, which is 13.1 miles despite the fact that I don't like running . It was my first every running event, and I did it in 1 Hour 52 minutes, and 57 seconds.

I can share my own stories of my own experiences, and I'm not a good cook, but I'll help to the best I can. As well as other chores, such as cleaning.
