Overview
About Me
I'm a happy guy who enjoys the simple things in life, good food, good people, music, books, and wine. I love cooking food for friends (vegan, primarily) and great conversations. Traveling has become a big part of my life: on some level, I am always planning my next trip. In between my travels, I work in restaurants. Portland has been my home for the past four years and I can't imagine living anywhere else right now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have backpacked multiple times and have either camped or stayed in hostels, which have led to many amazing experiences. However, I am looking to experience more local culture these days and feel like Couchsurfing is a great way to do that! As well, I love showing people around my hometown when I am able to; it's a great way to remember to appreciate where you live while making new friends from around the world.
Interests
Cooking, reading, having drinks with friends, happy hour, going on walks, singing karaoke, eating as much food as possible, listening to live music, and eating- I did mention eating, right?
