About Me

Hi!

Dutch/American, born in NL, grew up in the states, and moved (back?) to the Netherlands to study AI. It's pretty great. Trying to avert the machine apocalypse, so far so good.

I really like people who give a shit. What do you care about?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to live in a world where strangers are always welcome. There's no reason we can't all take care of each other, when just small inconveniences can purchase such valuable improvements to a person's experience away from home. Also some of my favorite people I met here :)

Interests

The ocean is rad, especially at night. Ok hear me out....bouldering on the beach in the morning, chilling at a library in the afternoon, and an oceanside bonfire at night. With olives! I would be interested in that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I BUILT A BOAT! I spent a year building a wooden sailboat. It's 4 meters long and all home made! Definitely the coolest thing I've done to date. And no, it didn't sink.
