Hi! My name is Nick and I am currently doing my best to live a life with no regrets. I am the 3rd of 4 siblings and love them all to death. I have a crazy big extended family and lots of close friends from H.S. and College and I am leaving them all behind so I can go and experience some of this crazy beautiful world for myself. I am traveling with my friend Jamie and the two of us have spent the better part of the last 2 years together traveling the U.S.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm moving to New Zealand for 2017 so I just got couchsurfing for the first time. I got a Working Holiday Visa and I am touring the country with my best friend Jamie! (she is the girl in my picture) We both have touring bikes and are traveling from Auckland to Queenstown in a couple of months. I've been doing a ton of research and will come with much of what I need but it always helps to know some people when getting on your feet. I'm hoping to use this as a means to meet a few friendly faces who can offer advice and guidance so we begin our journey without any huge missteps.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite Music has to be Alternative Rock. But I'm really into most genre's of music as long as it's not country (sorry just don't care for it). My favorite movies are probably The Matrix, Life of Pi, Up, idk I like good movies. I love Ishmael, The Alchemist, To Kill a Mockingbird, 1984, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, ect.

I honestly enjoy any well written thoughtful work of art. Whether it's new music, a strange book, or indie film, I'm interested as long as it seems like it can help me see the world from a different viewpoint.
